Can Casualwear be branded with a “Luxury Label”?

By: LoydMartin

If 2020 is a lesson in fashion, it is that Luxury Label fashion does not have to make us feel good or look great. It also has to be versatile. People have had to reevaluate their wardrobes in light of changing circumstances and decided which pieces are worth keeping. These classic pieces tend to be more casual than they should be, but which comfort-inspired pieces can we keep in our wardrobe while still displaying luxury?

  • Smart Shoes

Casual is expected to be the dominant trend in 2021. We can expect more attention on our feet. This means that trainers must be durable and long-lasting, but still have a fashionable edge. Expect less pristine whites, box-fresh collabs and better craftsmanship.

Italian footwear manufacturer Golden Goose offers a collection of trainers inspired by vintage for the Spring/Summer 2021. The Golden Goose Old School shoes, which are simple in design, have a Velcro fastening and a leopard print motif. They also feature diamante embellishment. The Golden Goose Slide Double Quarters are inspired by high-tops. They take the demand for chunky soles but give it a vintage look that is reminiscent of the noughties.

The Golden Goose Superstar metallic-leather low-top trainers with cowhide, ovine and rubber leathers add to the range. Metallic effects will be in fashion for the Spring/Summer 2021, as it is well-known. Moschino offers a variety of chunkier trainers while Versace has a pair of black-patterned shoes that would have looked great on the running track a decade back. A casual, sporty shoe with a luxury label has received a lot of attention.

  • Smarter Luxury Label Sweatshirts

While they may not have been the best for 2020, many fashion collections will still feature sweatshirts in 2021. These trends show that fashion doesn’t have to look uncomfortable in order to be fashionable. And trendy sportswear doesn’t have to only be worn for fit exercises. Many sweatshirts are made for any activity, not just physical exercise. Many Spring/Summer 2021 pieces are designed for those who want to walk down the high street and stop by a bar or restaurant if they have to.

Moschino’s pastel pink sweatshirt, which features the brand’s cartoon bear under the name, is a perfect example of the mix between casual and chic. To give the basic workout staple a classy touch, the Ermanno Scervino embroidered flower piece uses a lace effect.

With the bright motifs on their sweatshirts, Kenzo and Chiara Ferragni demonstrate that casualwear can be a way to stand out. Luxury Label They use imagery and patterns to make a statement. Balmain and REDValentino offer simpler designs, with block-colour shirts that are designed for maximum marketing results comfort.

Many will rejoice that the fashion revolution is back at casual and lounge wear. Tibi, Max Mara and Givenchy have shown that comfort can still be luxurious. A sweatshirt and trainers no longer shout “stay at homes“, but a new style era.
